Summer in Denmark, and lots of outdors music

It`s really nice. The summer has arrived. - In the last time, we have played a lot of music. In Maj we have played with Mariagerfjord Folk music - First in a little brewery in Hobro, and then in a Art Galleri in Hadsund - the 2 June we shall play, at a little festival in the area. Then we are going to Skive playing with another group "Sammenrend" (Get together band)  - My wife and I also gonna play orselves, at our freinds 60 years birthday - last in June we shall play, on a houseboat, laying in Nykoebing harbor on the island Mors. - we like the different music jobs, and we love the summertime with lot of music.

I can see at the BHO, that there are many music camps around the world. Hope a lot of members will enjoy playing together, and have have new inspiration. - It`s a "little" faraway from here, but some of the camps i think, "wish I could go there" .

I wish all members a really good musical time.

Torben

It sounds like you and your wife have fun, like my husband, Kit, and me. What instrument does your wife play? Do you sing in English or Norwegian? We've gone to music camps and they are really fun and stretch your experiences by doing more than you imagined you could or would. But even without camps and parking lot jams, we enjoy preparing for our own little volunteer gigs and sing songs like Carter Family ones. We'll have a nice place to perform on June 2nd, too, up in the mountains at a little museum/gold rush town park where there will be a chili cook-off.

-Hi Janet. My wife play guitar - whistle and sing. I play guitar - 5 strings and sing. Yes, we have a lot of fun with the music, and enjoyed, that we have the same interest. We sing in Danish - English/America - Scottish and Irish. If you like to your are welcome to visit our home page voeb-music.dk The words one the page is in Danish, but maybe google can translate. If not just ask, and I will try to explane. - Its sound like a nice plays gold rush. Glad to hear that your husband and you also have the same interest.

Hi Torben, I haven't written to you for a long time. It sounds like it will be a good summer for you and yours. I hope all your journeys are full of good friends and experiences you will remember fondly.

Thanks for giving us all good wishes from Denmark.

Dave.

No matter where you live on this Earth, being a musician has many of the same things in common. I like that playing has allowed me to travel and meet so many new people over the years.

Happy trails to you.

Yes...you are right. - We ( my wife and I) have just arrived home, after playing at a little festival. We arrived at the festival about kl. 14, and now the clock in Denmark about midnight. - Beside playing ourselves, we heard a lot of good music, and have got new musical freinds. I`m sure you have it just like us. If we are ready to open up ourselves, we can meet a lot of nice people, and have new freinds. - Music have no border. Music can bring people together...." so maybe we should recommand the politicians, all over the world, to play music. "
