I've just finished the writing for a new record. I'm taking a bit of a creative turn from my last record, where I explored more of my jazz influences. Back Country to the Future will encompass the spectrum of my influences on the banjo including my background in traditional bluegrass. I will be using my Nashville based No Man's Land rhythm section (Kevin Knapp, Hamilton Hardin), and I will also be flying to New York to record other tracks with Bill Evans, Joel Rosenblatt, and Mark Egan. Tracking will begin in early March. Estimated release in September.
