NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
You gotta go. He is BRILLIANT (as I'm sure you know). Hopefully as it's now 7pm as I am writing this, you are already happily en route.

"Mabye i can make it" thought the banjo player as he gazed out of his bedsit window. After all he thought, the fuzz wont be out in force on a night like this, and as for having no tax, what's new. He looked down the snow sodden street at the old drunk who seemed to vomit with pride beside the broken kerbstones. "At least i will be out of here for a while". Quickly he changed into his loon pants and dug out his "sex, drugs, Flatts and Sgruggs" tee shirt along with his Deering baseball cap. Grabbing his denim he made for the door.
He knew his vauxall victor 101 would be reluctant to start as he cleared the still falling snow from its windscreens, but to his delight she fired up first time, John Denver came out through his eight track as he turned onto Plummet Lane, "Tim O'Brien" he grinned........"Here i Come"..........

Sorry to hear that Paul, I was miserable because I couldn't get hold of a ticket but as it turned out I couldn't have made it through the snow either, does that make me luckier than you or not? I'm not sure....

Blog newby here
Everything comes in threes they reckon.... unused tickets, squealers + gig cancellation about does I reckon. Besides take a ride in my shoes - walked 4 miles to work, then 4 miles back cos of the white stuff and found I got no beer in the house..and its Friday night.
