Howdy,

What difference(s), if any, would one expect from a full scale ("G")banjo capo'd at the 2nd fret, and an "A" scale banjo, if both banjos were the same model from the same manufacturer, e.g. a Reiter standard fretted and a Reiter Standard A scale fretted?

If they are essentially the same, what is the advantage of making/acquiring an "A" scale banjo?
