Hello. I picked up a 2002 Gibson Earl Scruggs standard. It came with some extra tuners that I assume are the originals. Can anyone identify the ones on the banjo and or the ones I’m holding? Also the tailpiece isn’t stamped Gibson I assume it’s also not original. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

The ones on the banjo look like Waverly tuners. I can't speak for the other one you are holding.

The tailpiece would have been the Presto. The TP you are holding is similar to the Price Straightline TP but I don't remember them having the two adjusting screws. Also, I think the end of the Straightline TP was a bit narrower over the tension hoop with the leading edge flaring out to the proper distance to line up with the bridge slots in a straight line.

The tailpiece looks like a cross between a Price and a Kershner. It's probably someone's knock-off that they hand made. Whoever made it knows something about machining.
