Looking to find a simple gigbag for my 11 inch open back. Not needing anything fancy but would like it to be a snug fit. All the ones I'm finding are roomier than they need to be. Thanks much.

Thanks, yep, I've looked at the Alpine. Just wish it didn't have all the exterior pockets. Hoping to keep low- profile.

Yes, there are three pockets on the outside. This is the first I've ever seen anyone complain about that.
I keep the open back and resonator versions in stock. They used to come in a few colors but these days, Desert Sand is the only available option for the banjo bags.
Boulder Alpine Open Backed Banjo Bag

I now have a Boulder Alpine gig bag, but for a few years I used a Superior bag. It worked just fine, but the Boulder Alpine is an improvement. For about 20 years I carried my old Harmony resonator banjo in an unpadded canvas bag that I sewed myself, made from the directions in Pete Seeger's book.
