Does anybody know about how many Gibson 5 strings were produced in about the last 50 years as opposed to the number of Asian masterclones from the same time period.

There would be records for Gibson banjos but not some many for masterclones. Given the high number or branded instruments manufactured during this time, and many did not have serial numbers, I would suggest it would be almost impossible to determine numbers.

Can’t give an exact number, but a guesstimate ratio would be something like 75:1.
