The lineup for Wintergrass 2026 is up!
Wintergrass is February 19 - 22 at the Bellevue Hyatt in WA state.
Is anyone from BHO planning on attending?
I saw Bruce Molsky and Darol Anger last year too, but I could watch/listen to these guys every year.
Lots of other interesting stuff too. I may have to drag myself away from the porch and into the big city!

Yes, I'll be crossing the lake. Not sure what day yet.

Looks like the workshops are all happening on Thursday. I'm really interested in Allison deGroot's workshop.
I see Nick Hornbuckle is also doing a Scruggs style workshop.

I’ll be coming over for the whole festival! I signed my kids up for the kids instruction camp thing. I’m stoked!

I’m going for the whole thing again. Kind of surprised that Molsky and Anger will be there for the third consecutive year (at least), Vassen three years? Fretless again. At first I thought it was last years lineup.
Dont get me wrong I love the talent and the performances but I’d thought they would lean more heavily on different, fresh acts.
I buy my tickets early when they are discontinued. Downside is you don’t know the lineup. I may have to rethink my strategy. With hotel it’s a lot to pay for a lot of the same.
I don’t like riding a roller coaster more than once either.

That is AWESOME! How old are your kids?
I hope they know how blessed they are! (if they're too young to get it yet, they will with time.)

My daughter is 12. She's been playing fiddle for about a year. My son is 7. He doesn't take lessons or anything, but he loves strumming a uke. I'm about to get a beginner mandolin for him to strum away on. I love it!

Cool! I just started with my 7 y.o. granddaughter's uke lessons. We're learning it together. The lessons are geared to her attention span which is highly variable, yet consistently short. Like... about 15 seconds to max. 15 minutes. I'm quite a ways ahead of her in lessons which is good because I need the time to learn more about patience. ![]()
