This perfect condition Deering Artisan Goodtime Special banjo recently came into my possession. The original owner barely played it. As he put it, "Almost never played". I have only played it enough to verify the setup and such.
It has a maple neck and resonator, "midnight maple" fretboard, and the same Deering tone ring that is installed in all Deering Goodtime Specials. This Deering sounds fantastic, and could hold its own against banjos of a much higher value.
This would be an excellent banjo for anybody looking to up their game from beginner to intermediate or beyond. 5th string spikes are installed at 7, 8, 9, and 10. Comes with a perfect condition Deering hardshell case, and a cloth Deering strap.
