I just wrote a long post that I really saw as a draft of a presentation on banjo history I will make for Fiddle Hell in November, as a response to a post one BHO participant. Unfortunately. a bit confused by my growing senility and the impact of the medications I take for my heart problem, I posted it to the wrong board where it must seem weird. I had thought participants had the option to delete their posts forever, or perhaps for a day or so after posting. I tried to delete it but found no way. I hope we can be enabled to do that. Thanks for the wonderful work that you all do. As an old guy the acts of generosity and care I see every day in the banjo community seem to inspire me in contrast to all the bad stuff that seems to be going on in this world.

There appears to be one I wrote the moderator about this issue on the board where this problem developed. Now the erroneous post is no longer listed. Again, I cannot give too much praise for the gift to us all Banjo Hangout is and especially to its founder, but also to the moderators who have to deal with our ineptitude and the large scale insanity that infect BHO at times, to make this such a precious gift. Thanks to all!

There's a 15 minute time frame in which one can EDIT their posts. After that, there's no editing, no deleting, no changing. The only exception to that rule is the Original Poster can edit his/her ORIGINAL post but no other posts.

Thanks.  Once again thanks for the great work you and everyone else associated with BHO does providing this blessing to us all.  like I say as I get older and older,  I feel we do not give enough credit to and praise to people like you who help because there is work needed to be done.

One addition / modification to what Sherry said above. The original poster can also delete the thread by deleting the original starting post (and ONLY the original post) so long as no other posts have been made to the thread. Once someone else posts to a thread, the option to delete the entire thread is no longer available to the original poster.
