Interesting clip. wish there was more of it. While the picture is a bit fuzzy, the sound was very good. Earl's banjo sounded great and so did the rest of the ensemble. I was surprised the lead singing was so good. Surprised that they sung such a traditional Flatt and Scruggs tune. Thought they would be branching out more on their own.

Thanks for the longer version. Earl used a little bit of a different ending than I had heard before. Maybe some of you more knowledgeable have heard it often. Thinking about it, it is a little surprising the influence his boys had on him. But his kids were talented.
