I have several of Wyatt's Vega banjos. The last one I bought on ebay in 2018. Wyatt offered to carve the heel but he shipped it before I could get him to agree to do it.
After that I was unable to make any contact.
Today I asked Turtle Hill if they had any info. No they don't. I asked Grok to check the Greensboro papers and obits. Again nothing.
Does anyone have reliable information about Wyatt Fawley's current situation?

I’ve heard from a couple of people who are from his area that he has passed away. I have no confirmation of this though.

Wyatt Fawley had indeed passed away a couple or possibly 3 years ago.
