Leaves flutter in a rainbow of color and they dance and they lightly fall and pad the ground and become part of the soil. What a glorious life with a namesake tune to glorify in!

Well worth the return visit, a delightful combination of instruments and fine playing with your usual original taste.

When I hear Janet chirping poetic, I know I'm in the right place at the right time. My age-old interview with her is very rich, but it needs an update to reflect her life in more recent times: her incredibly generous and devoted nurturing of the old-time banjo community, and her many good-doings in her local community and global outreach - all of which seem like a lot of lives lived simultaneously.

I think it would serve to strengthen a sense of community on BHO if we had an autobiographical forum where members could share aspects of their lives. Getting to know Janet for many years through BHO, I'm one of the fortunate ones who have an appreciation for some of her fine rare qualities. I'm sure that many BHO members have lots of things they'd like to share about their lives that others would find interesting. In that way, I think more friendships could unfold and the BHO community might develop a deeper cohesiveness.

It would be good imo to see some old faces return to the sound off--and vid page--Janet for sure--
the off forums kinda has regulars and they even'' get along'' sometimes--

Thanks, I love the way you phrased that, "the steady feeling of sliding into the beat". Never heard it expressed that way; beautifully put.

Thank you, John. I'm glad you liked it. I saw on your home page that you play cello banjo. Wonder what you're up to with it?
