How did you spend the New Year?

We remembered New Year's fun today

And because we remembered the huge amount
Of everything that poured into us until the morning
How the guests gathered, and how mom and dad waited for them
How they gave me a huge orange
How very crowded we were, how we sang songs together
And everyone drank something other than what they brought.

And he laughed a lot, too, then said see you soon
And the toilet scared him for a long, long time
