Hi all
I am new to this forum. I do not play the banjo but my dad did. I played the guitar. I do recognize a few names on here from when we were on the bluegrass circuit. My dad was Harold Goad (I am Warren BTW) and we had a band called the Village Singers. We were on the Pincastle label and did 4 albums with Sonny Osbourne as producer.
I will be selling some banjo stuff once I get the ok from the moderators. I may also need help IDing some stuff too.
Thanks
Warren Goad.

Welcome.
In the meantime tell us some cool stories about Sonny.

Your Dad was a good and funny man. Best of luck to you and if I can be of any help, don't hesitate to reach out. I don't know much but you're welcome to any knowledge or opinion that I have Warren.

Welcome, Warren.
You best bet will be to put queries related to the items you'd like guidance on into the "Collector's Corner" forum.
Please take plenty of photos of each item - front, back, peghead, neck, pot front, pot lateral, pot back with resonator on, pot back with resonator off. Any serial numbers should be photographed, as should any items such as bills of sale or records of significant work (if available). Any interesting "case candy" should also be photographed.
You can upload those into the photo section on your home page.
It's helpful for the folks who can really ID stuff from photos (and I'm not one of them) if you can embed the images into the post itself. If you're working with multiple instruments, it would probably be a good idea to start a new thread on each one.
