Hi all. I need some advice. I believe the time has come to pass along my deceased father's 2007 Gibson RB-250 5-string to the next person. It's just sitting around not being used, and I think his wishes would be for it to be used (he did love the banjo). I'm having a little trouble valuing it for sale, as I think he replaced the tuners. I'm not sure if this will depreciate the value or not. I'm not even sure of the brand of the tuners (I can't read the script on there - getting old), making it hard to determine. I've attached some pics here. Any help is appreciated on estimated value and what the tuners might be.
Thanks again.

If you are referring to the two tuners with the two small screws on the sides, they appear to be Keith tuners, and could add a little value, not detract. The sliding rail on the top of the neck could go either way, but likely detract a little, as the screw holes are hard to make disappear when removed. I would price as normal and figure they would balance each other out.

Condition appears good. Looking at similar ads, asking prices are in the 2000-2500 range. I have no knowledge of any actual sale prices.

Thank you for the input. That's was I was figuring regarding a sale price, so I think I'll go ahead and give it a shot listing it.

Are there any markings stamped on the tone ring, visible from the inside?
Just on the off chance, a Kulesh tone ring might be expected to earn a slight premium compared to some of the other tone rings Gibson used since 1987.
I agree with the $2500 recommendation.

2006 just listed at $2000 in classified with Keith tuners. Looks to be a pretty good comparison.

Thanks for the help everyone. I have it listed on reverb.com if anyone is interested.
