What is one worth that has been knocked over and suffered a broken neck at the heel? The repair was excellent and the scar is as close to invisible as imaginable. There is nothing else wrong with the banjo. I would like to buy it but am afraid the resale value is compromised by it history. So I want to offer no more than what I might be able to get out of it when it is time to part out my stuff.

70s goes around 1750-2k.
Neck break probably takes off 500.
Just my best guess.

Luke pretty much nailed it.
I personally would not pay more than 1200, and only that if everything else was near mint and it had the original case.
Seeing it’s a mid 70’s banjo, unless it was dirt cheap, meaning under 1000, you would best invest your money elsewhere on a better banjo.
