Years ago when I was just noticing 'old time' / traditional music for the first time, I heard the first tune that captivated me entirely - the tune Needle Case as played by the late Johnny Keenan. Most times since then that I've heard it or been at jams with others who played it, it's been done pretty quick time; but Johnny's version was done slow and sweetly, kind of pensively, and I try to play it that way today. I lost the mp3 file I had of Keenan playing it. Does anybody have that version?
Thanks!
