Gold Tone EB-5 Electric Banjo: Rock n Roll Static
Here is something I came up with while shooting for hard distortion while strumming four strings with my two bottom fingers of my right hand while muting the 5th string with my thumb. Don't try to follow me, as I'm really lost as to where I'm going. I'm not even sure this is in a key or not! I used the Gold Tone stock cheap humbucker at the neck and added one piezo pickup hooked to the bridge. Tube practice amp and condenser mics. Anyway, it doesn't sound like a banjo anymore. 
I'm modifying my other EB-5 for a hard heavy metal sound. It should be done soon. Stay tune for posts from my other eb5, it will have more distortion and cry baby wah pedal plus effects, Bill Larwence Wilde L500XL pickups at the neck and bridge.
