Hurricane Hellene did a lot of damage in the Big Bend of Florida. We had tropical storm force winds here. We didn't have any damage, but it blew the avacados off our tree. Debbie picked up 23. They will go ahead and ripen off the tree. They were going to be nice and big by October. Debbie has a package of cherry tomatoes near the avacados. The tomatoes will give off Ethylene gas and help the avacados to ripen.
