Taj Mahal’s version of this tune was an inspiration way back when, and still is today. Here’s my interpretation of his rendition, along with a tab. Key of C in the open C tuning (gCGCE).

In my now pretty dicey memory, I once read that Taj won the Topanga Canyon Banjo & Fiddle contest, professional division, with that tune.
In the category of raucous, I'm rather fond of Roscoe's Mule.
