I have a request that when someone emails you through a message using your username, that the email addresses would be encrypted so the mailer can't see the actual email address in the resulting email.

Not a bad idea, but not in my job description to make that kind of a decision. Eric would have to be the one to change anything on here. Maybe he'll chime in with his thoughts.

I don't have the ability to set up those one-time-use encrypted addresses.
BUT... just to be clear... if someone sends you a PM, they don't see your email address. You can't just create an account then email people and harvest addresses... it doesn't work that way NotABanjoYoda.
They only see your email if you reply to the PM via your email address, sending them a message from your personal email box. Whether or not you do that is entirely up to you.

And that is what I was asking, about even on a reply to a friend's message. But, if you can't do it, that settles that issue
