There seems to have been a number of Dave’s videos posted over the last couple of months and I’ve really enjoyed his playing. The most recent, yesterday I think, was him playing Nola (2). Camera angle is looking up from around his right foot, which gives an extraordinary view of his right hand. I expanded the view a little to watch his right hand and I’m amazed at the power he uses with his 1st and middle fingers. They also move together as if locked. Is he playing with just his thumb and 1st finger with the middle “riding” along? Fascinating to watch.

I should do more homework before posting. I found a couple of posts with more information referring to his injury/condition. However, that video is still very interesting, and though I discovered him late, I haven’t missed him completely. He’s so worthy of more discussion on this forum.
Cheers Dave!
