At BalFolk dance events you can meet German dances Zwiefacher or Alsace dances "Valse a 5 Temps".In Bohemian, region in the Czech Republic, you will find an analogy and these are dances called "Matenik". It is typical for them that they alternate between 2/4 and 3/4 measure according to certain rules.
