The New Grass Revival showed me that there was a new way to play bluegrass and Courtney's playing was "key" in that newness.
I became immersed in learning fiddletunes because of Courtney's playing.

Courtney was the real deal. I was at SPGMA one year and got to play his main Banjo. It was a thrill to play descending blues run on that Banjo
