A Drum On A Stick - Posted - 05/17/2024: 14:13:44
This is a follow-up post to my new 'vega' banjo posted about in the collector forum
I'm looking for advice on these tuners. What are they, and what can I do to make them run smoothly again?
When I got the banjo they were a little too tight, and loosening the screw has helped somewhat. But I'm thinking it might be worth taking them apart for cleaning.
I did a preliminary search on the hangout, but the 'grover pat tuners' I found don't look like mine.

Check with Dean Meece. He restore all kinds of tuners.
@rbfour5
Dean, can you help him? (I know you can!)
