I lost access to BNL (Banjo Newsletter) when signing on this morning.
Message said to renew subscription for $8.99 for one year.
I was happy to do so and looks like new subscribers can also subscribe?

I wonder if it has been sold or family has reopened access to the back copies and audios and tab, etc.

I've read some stuff here on the Hangout that BNL "might" be coming back. Before I give them my credit card #, I want to know that this is what's happening and that someone hasn't hacked into BNL and is attempting to take advantage of the fact it's been idle for so long. Hopefully, someone from BNL will chime in and let us know one way or another.

Thanks for the heads-up. Yes, it appears that new and existing subscribers can now sign up again.

WHOIS lookup doesn't show who owns the domain, but they're in Maryland. So it's possible Donald Nitchie, editor since Hub passed away, found someone to take over or help him with the business side that was handled by Spencer. There's no indication on the home page that any new content is coming. But at least they're trying to generate some revenue off the existing content. That's a good sign.

For $8.99, I can re-up.

Sherry:
Yes, I reupped and now have access to all content as before.
I'm not associated with the company.
Hopefully they will finish downloadeing all the old back issues.

Hi friends,

Just a note to confirm that Banjo Newsletter has reopened the membership to access the online archives of past issues.

I am Hub Nitchie's grand daughter, and Spencer Nitchie's daughter, and I am the new owner of BNL.

I'm amazed you all noticed so quickly the website had changed this weekend without any announcement from us! We are celebrating that the website is back open. There will be more communications coming from us, we are taking one step at a time.

Thanks for your interest in BNL
Sofia Nitchie

Thanks for the update,
Access to what you already have online is great.
Gradually downloading older years as was being done earlier would be a plus.

That's great! I hope you can keep it going and perhaps someday have another magazine like in the past. If not, then just having access to all the fantastic information on the site is well worth the subscription price.
