We will probably see more and more robotic fighting machines. Recruits are down and humans have at least some compunctions about what all they are willing to do, and to who, and that is not a desirable quality for the soldier of the future. Some strong laws prohibiting ANY such deployments on US soil might be helpful, at least for citizens.
