I'm playing clawhammer in a large group and really can't hear myself play, or at least not well enough. I'm looking around for a pickup that I can stick insiide the rim that would go to an ear piece. I had a travel guitar with a headphone jack and it worked well.
I've tried some other modifications to the banjo, but they just don't give me the feedback I want.
