Hi,

I have ended up with this dvd, “Ron Stewart: A Bluegrass Banjo Professional” dvd, but the booklet is missing.

Anyone know where I can get the booklet?

Otherwise, a lot of BHOers may have the dvd or download.. could you email me the booklet file, or a scan of the booklet?

Accutab used to send the missing booklets out for free, but I don’t think the company has existed for awhile; at least I haven’t found anything on the ‘net.

I really appreciate your help!!

Rockyjo

It's right here. Just check around for a contact button or whatever. Just look for the DVD you purchased and look for a contact them page. It's all there...Jack Baker

Hi Jack,

Well, if you know a direct link or phone number to Acutab, please send it.

The link you sent shows the dvd listed at various places, such as Amazon (which lists Mel Bay, which Mel Bay doesn’t own Acutab and only distributed (formerly) their product); retailers (out of stock), etc. I’ve checked them all already. Elderly says they can’t separate out the download containing video and booklet; they will only sell the whole download, which is rich when I already have the dvd. Elderly does not own Acutab.

So, I’m asking if a BHOer can scan and send, or send me a copy of the booklet? Maybe you have one, Jack?

Thank you,
Rockyjo

I'm sorry but I don't own anything with regards to Ron Stewart. You may have to buy the tab separately and there must be some kind of Contact page....good luck....Jack   p.s. I generally make my own tabs but not from other tab books...keep at it and you'll find or buy a  Tab for the DVD

Thanks for your input.

The dvd is long since “out of print”. The download is an unseparable combo video/booklet file (as I’m told). And the original company is out of business.

That’s why I’m checking with BHO folks, for a copy of the booklet only…

Thanks,
Rockyjo

Hi Rocky I am pretty sure Acutab has gone out of business. But I think other digital downloaders such as MelBay, Purple Player or Truefire may still be selling this product. Does no harm to drop them an email and ask. Another solution might be to track down John Lawless Editor Bluegrass Today. or Ron Stewart and drop them an email. I feel pretty sure they would help if they can.

It might be worth putting the DVD into a computer, if you have a DVD reader, and checking the disc. I don't know that AcuTab did such things, but on some of my old discs, PDFs of the printed materials were included there.

And for what it's worth, here's a link to the Lonesome Highway Blues tab that someone showed on their Amazon listing for the DVD:

Hooray! I tried several suggestions here, and a BHO’er ultimately helped me get a copy!

Thank you everyone very much!!
