For fans of the Earl Scruggs Revue and those discovering their music. These are two great shows from 51 years ago. Brings back some good memories seeing them. They were hot! A very exciting period for Earl and his music.

WOW! Brings back a lot of memories! About this same time period I went to see Mr. Ear every time I could when distance permitted. At a Bluegrass Festival in Lavonia GA I happened to stumble on Mr. Earl sitting in an area behind the stage, met him and had a nice talk. Such a humble man who could flat tear up a banjo.

Uncle Buck on Dobro and Randy Scruggs can both pick amazingly well regardless of the genre of music they were playing. Such a treat to see them all again. Thanks for uploading these!

I have moved your thread to other banjo related. Sound off is for members showing off their picking.

Thanks. I did wonder if I had it in the correct place.

Thanks for posting these videos. I didn't get to see either when they originally aired. On a Friday night in March of 1973, I would have been in a bar where someone was playing Bluegrass music. On a Friday night in August of 1973, I would have been at a Bluegrass festival.
