Does anyone know how to make any kind of contact with anyone at Bluegrass Unlimited magazine ?

I'm a new subscriber and want to contact them.

I've made numerous attempts (phone, emails, reply to subscription notification) without any

success.

Nor have I received any issues yet. Has anyone who subscribes to this publication had any problems?

If anyone knows how to make contact with anyone with pulse,

please let me know.

Much appreciated.

I just sent them an email last week with no reply yet. When I contacted them last year they responded promptly.

I've must have made at least 7-8 attempts to contact them without any reply since Jan. 9th.
I've even threatened to cancel the subscription and still no response.
May have to take more affirmative action ... unfortunately.

Like so many things in Bluegrass, things happen at a more relaxed pace. That is except for the music! I would not be in a rush to cancel your subscription, our community is small and we need each other.

I've been a member since its inception & agree it's now a PIA trying contact some one there except as Sherry mentions to become a member , but that also I believe may be w/o a person .

I too was a subscriber from the early days but after it was taken over after the death of the founder. It seemed to me that the new people in charge were not really into the music. The new layouts and reversed out type made it difficult to read and it appeared to be mainly a puff job for new groups. The articles seemed a bit brief with not much depth. I hung on for about two years before I decided not to waste money any longer.
Oh for the days when magazines were run by enthusiasts.
Whilst on the subject of magazines, does anybody have new on the Old Time Herald since the editor moved over to the Alan Lomax archives?

Surprised by some of these comments. Content and layout wise, BU has been great IMO. Not great to hear about their non-responsiveness.

I think Jimmy , its still a good magazine for BG folks & we particularly enjoyed the recent in depth 2 part article on Tony Rice & the news letters . I'm not sure anyone on the staff gets paid & if so , not much . The editor is certainly a dedicated BG musician who has his hands full .
