I just posted a video on the ideas I use when creating "High Break" solos, including shapes, positions, scales and right-hand patterns. Hopefully, the ideas can help others create their own breaks, rather than relying on tabs of other pickers' solos. Would enjoy hearing from others as to the approach you use.

Yes, definitely some eye-openers in there. Although not mentioned in the video, if you know how to do up-the-neck breaks in G, you pretty much get down-the-neck D for free.
