The urgent voice sounds like an emergency order.
CALL THE NUMBER ON YOUR SCREEN!
GIVE YOUR ZIP CODE TO A LICENSED INSURANCE AGENT!
CALL THE NUMBER ON YOUR SCREEN!
DON'T DELAY ---CALL NOW!
Over and over, damn, I've never seen such an Orwellian ad campaign, and I can just imagine thousands zombie-like reaching for their phones. I do like the "licensed insurance agent" bit, and just imagine some yokel "well I sure as hell ain't givin' my dang zip code to no UN-licensed insurance agent, wuzn't born yesterday!"
The zip code is crucial because these plans are carefully constructed around limiting your choices and limiting your area of coverage is a big part of that.
I'd say a lot more about our unholy alliance between Medicare and the Insurance Industry but that would be flat-out political.
So I'll just say that these ads are creepy as hell.

I'm sick and tired of them. And they won't go away after Dec. 7 either. They didn't last year and we've had to listen/watch/ignore them for a year and will probably have to do the same thing next year. I've learned to tune them out on the TV, hit the mute, head to the kitchen or bathroom while they are on.
IF I wanted to know something about them, I'd call the company I wanted to do business with rather than a licensed agent.

And it's probably a scam. They really like to target folks 65 or older.

I record my shows on a PVR and then watch them later and fast forward through the ads. Sometimes after the ads the TV stations will put a huge banner at the bottom of the screen advertising one of their latest shows and it is so annoying.
