This has probably been shared before here, but it's been quite some time I think. Nice professional video of Buell Kazee. Playing an old 5 string trap door Gibson.

I've tried for years to find out the FON of his RB-3 trappie. Does anyone know, or have a hint on how to do so?

His son Phillip owns it. I do not know if he is a member here, or if someone here knows him to ask.

Rev. Kazee owned at least three of those including his wife's. A relative of his gave us this info with pictures after reading one of the many threads where I had posted those same links over the years. It was a long time ago and would probably take hours of searching the archives to find that. I probably posted those links the first time in 2007.

I did not know that! I'd always assumed he had the one trapdoor with which he is associated. I have seen pictures of him with what looks to be an RB-100, but I don't know if that was his as well.
Kazee has always been a favourite of mine and I am happy to have learned this.

I had a an identical RB-3 and liked it a lot. David Grismsn had a Gibson mandolin I liked even more and a trade was made in 1995.
