I’ll be going to my first ever AllFrets convention in August. Plectrum banjo in tow… who all is going?

Say "Hello" to Ron Hinkle when you get there (I think he retired to Tuscon). I met him when he was stationed in Huntsville, AL some years ago. Excellent plectrum and tenor player and all around nice guy.

We haven’t gone in a few years so my dad and I will probably be there! It’ll be nice to meet some fellow 4-string players in person

Amelia, I can't believe it's you. I'm shocked. I am so glad to know that you have blossomed into the young woman that you are. Your musicianship is as impressive as ever. I wonder if you might remember me, Fiddle lessons at the Jimmy Rogers House of Music.

I have unfinished business with your dad, and just sent him an email. Can you private message me and make sure that I sent it to the right email?

There are some loose ends that I desperately want to tie up.

Dont forget your golf clubs and tennis rackets too. La Paloma is an historic golf club. Ive gigged there many times in the clubhouse. They pay attention to detail. Hiking trails only a couple miles down the road into the catalinas, although it will probably be 100+ degrees in August...so hike early.
