43 years. Dang! I told her if she ever left me, I was going with her.

Congratulations. I'm too lazy to look into the stats, but I expect 43 puts you two into a fairly high percentile ranking. [Later this summer we'll hit 48*.]
* = plus a short year of living in sin. It reminds me of an old(er) prospector up in the N. MB. bush when I worked there as a summer student telling us: "Yep, Flora and I have been married 12 years ... 5 of them legally."

Happy Anniversary.
Dave and I were married 50 years and we always said we couldn't break up because neither one of us wanted to move (G).

Congrats on that. We're coming up on 46. When we were on an anniversary trip in Hawaii one of our tour guides informed us that he'd been married for 40 years himself. Only took him three wives to get there.

Congratulations to you and your wife! We are approaching 45 ourselves, with extra "pre-legal" years while I finished grad school). A wonderful partner, she's about (tomorrow!) to help me with another knee replacement.

My wife had a knee replacement a few years ago. When my knee gets to hurting, I just take off my leg and lean it up against the wall.

Isn't the 43 anniversary the banjo anniversary? I think I need a new banjo.

Congrats, we're coming up on 36, but it'd be 41 if I weren't such an idiot. She only hit me once, and that was on our 30th when I said we were happily married for 15 years and 15 out of 30 ain't bad. I don't do that joke anymore, at least not when she's within earshot.

Congrats. I made it 28 years with my ex before we parted ways. Have been with my current GF for 16 years and don't plan to ever get into another relationship, especially at my age. For one thing, I just don't want to have to learn a bunch of new stuff.

Congratulations! We'll be at 55 next month, 60 if you count the years from which we first started dating as teens.

Congrats to you both!
We'll hit 44 in August. I tell people I'm still on my "starter wife".
Back when I phoned my Dad to tell him I was getting marrried, he asked the date and, when I told him August 4, he immediately snapped back, "That's the anniversary of World War I."
When we got married, one couple told us, "The first fifty years are the hardest."
