Any examples of bluegrass or old-time songs in 7/4 time? Anyone ever try it? It's a great rhythm to combine with minor tunes.

It's like common time and waltz time combined into one.

Ages ago, I went to a concert (I don't remember who) and they shifted from an Irish reel to an Eastern European 7/8 reel. Very smooth and very cool.

Not exactly old-time, but there’s the Grateful Dead’s “Estimated Prophet” youtube.com/watch?v=MQs22Kt-vZk
