During the COVID-19 pandemic, musicians and music lovers alike had to find new ways to present and enjoy music in the wake of live events being cancelled. These unsettling times inspired us to build community by hosting an ONLINE old time banjo contest--now in its THIRD year!--where everyone can participate from the comfort of home. Compete for CASH prizes and Elderly Instruments gift cards, enter to win additional RAFFLE prizes, share your music, enjoy your peers’ music, and grow the online banjo community with us.

This is a fun event -- musically challenging, friendly, convenient, inexpensive, rewarding, heart-warming, educational -- and did I say fun?! Thanks for your efforts to put this together for three years in a row now.

Thanks Janet. I LOVE hearing and seeing all the banjo players and have learned some tunes from the postings. It's been a fun way to keep people's banjo energy up during the winter between festival season, too! Please spread the word.
