What purpose for a vendetta? Let the issues dry up and blow away.

This is global, people have microscopes to read books with, isn't that kind of hard?

The 3 stooges was me poking fun at some very serious people who wanted to regiment the banjo vocabulary, regiment banjo construction, and form an "our thing." Cosa banjo.

Disagreements cause stagnation and thread kill and real flame wars in the early hangout days.

So let me see, Randall Cordle was "Larry", Ken Levan was "Mo" , Dan Drabek was "Curly Maple." With new help from "Shemp.
And no hostile intent whatsoever from John Boulding, "I'm all ears." He plays banjo very, very well, does he not?

I was poking fun at them.
People play "dumb down" all the time here on the hangout . The internet allows people to have a warriors name and do "masking."

Dirty fingernails and fiddle bench experience are just fine with me. "who ever this Helix thinks he is." Sounds like fear of strangers.

I see many people have left the hangout in past years, I was sorry to learn that, coax them back over to say howdy, please.

I also see the "tone" of some of my own communications which sound pompous maybe in retrospect. I can change that.

This year, I'm working on less ego, less negative words, zero cursing and actually listening to other people better.

I'm just an old dog with a bag of new tricks and in 2006, I felt I had to pull away from the hangout because of suspicious behavior similar to my professional experience with disabled adults seeking gainful employment and the "community" discriminating against them.

The wide experience of all the different people here, the curious new young people and great new ideas have propelled the faithful, too.

My photos are just chronological, I was "told" I need new photos. OK Let me go ask the users' group, that's where any action is and should be.

You are "Larry" Larry!

And quit mentioning my name in your idiotic posts—I'm not saying "please"—you have no right to do that and if the moderators had any guts, they's kick you off again. You are the one who has driven good people off this forum with your "poking  fun", it's not fun.  This is not supposed to be a forum for sniping and bad-natured ranting, although you never seem to understand that.

If you ever have anything to say to me or about me,  Here's a  direct quote from you on a recent thread  "Explain my faults to me privately please.  It's a better echo chamber."  Practice what you preach and leave other people alone, Larry.

Larry Hill, you should dry up and blow away. Your cryptic posts and nonsense are only designed to irritate. Ken and Dan outclass you at every turn. You should be ashamed of yourself.

Anyone remember  Stringbreaker? He caused more controversy than anyone in the history of the hangout.  But in maybe a morbid  way he was kind of a breath of fresh air.  He wound up getting locked

My dad once said about another bar patron, "He's never been in a bar fight but he sure has caused some of them." banjered

Pointing the finger is still just that

I posted because I was sick of getting tagged. The subject doesn’t write itself.

And me poking fun was self defense
from hostile intent, it’s a matter if record

No problem, no cross country on this railroad? No trunk lines?

“We drift because we like to talk about things!” That’s too bold and attention seeking in my opinion

C Nile or D Nile? Some of both.

Uncle Fogey then? "We drift......Ok then.
We all spoke about "You reap what you sow, rip what you sew" and so forth. People seem to not be able to take it well, please stay away from personal references

Even the New Covid response "You can't take it out like you dish it up."

Paulf stay tuned.
