I first saw the Romeros on the Frailin' Evans videos "Conversations With North American Banjo Builders."
This video has been up for four years, great video, just found it. Not your conventional "Pharis & Jason Romaro" fare.

Fun to see, fun to hear!
Especially the cameo appearance by a very large cat, who just happened to want to help with the Bird Watching.

He is certainly the #1 builder in this part of the world. 5 years ago at the Sorrento Workshop/Festival he was taking orders for mandos, guitars , and banjos. Customers were agreeing to wait 4 years for their new instrument. A short while after the camp his workshop went up in flames. Things were looking really bad. In the mean time his new rebuilt shop is now going full steam ahead.
