Wow, these new American made gaming desktops really rule! The case is as big and heavy as a house, and I already have 2 8tb hard drives installed with more to go. I wish they built everything up to these standards. There is no comparison of these desktops to the average laptop quality. I bet this monster weighs over 70 lbs!... I mean it has glass doors and bright led lights inside to boot! Next we overclock the cpu for more power. I love the design.

It's cool to be able to edit audio and videos with so much speed. My past three desktops were ALL "renewed" (refurbished) flagship HPs originally built about ten years ago.... I don't think any of them lasted me more than a year.

Lastly I plan to max out the RAM to 32gigs from the current 16gigs. Oh happy daay!!

70 pounds? I’ve got a full-size Linux workstation under my desk and it’s not anywhere close to that. Did you get the extra lead weights?

Lol.. Im serious about the weight. Honestly I never expected this thing to be this big and heavy. I had no idea people built them this big in 2022. I also never expected real glass to be used on the front and side. Amazon really surprsised me this time. There is plenty of internal space for more hard drives.

Most importanly it has an audio board along with using my Focusrite audio box via usb. It's the fastest computer I have ever owned.

Looks like a powerful machine... should serve you fine. Possibly great for video and gaming (depending on video card).

That said, not sure what need is, but  it's probably overkill for doing most DAW audio recording (esp for most home recording). Most part, doesn't require lot's of speed, and doesn't need cpu overclocking; nor enormous RAM.  Setting up multiple drives and partitions is good idea, though 16TB of storage is way more than most folks would ever need (even large sample library). If get into like  film scoring, enormous amount of tracks, use lots of large sampling, and lot's of VST3 and other DSP processing... CPU handling and RAM "might" become issue; but even then, lot's of older or smaller computers, and laptops keep up just fine.

If you are using Focusrite, or any interface via usb... shouldn't be using on-board audio. As well, would recommend using native ASIO sound architecture and drivers; rather than using Windows.

One investment might think about for working in DAW, (and video editing) is dual screens... IMO helps workflow making thing faster.

I have never used more than one monitor per desktop, but dual screens would be pretty cool. Also, I will be getting another large hard drive soon.... I already have about 12 gigs full of programs, music and many video games already installed. This is software that I have acuminated throughout my life. Not to mention the expensive audio recording and production software...that we all use.

The video card is a 3060. I agree that the on-board audio card is not as good as the Focusrite audio box... However, it sure makes for a real nice backup in case of failure of the Focusrite. I used to depend on just such an audio board in the past, as it's easy to plug a small mixer into such an audio board.

I'm still in the "new smell" phase of this computer. It's one of the coolest things that I have got in a long time.
