One of my Windows 10 computers crashed that I use for Tabledit tabs.
My Samsung chromebook will not run Tabledit.
I understand some versions of chromebook will run Tabledit.

If so, what version of Chromebook will work. (I like the faster boot up, etc. on Chromebook.)

SSD solid state drives will give you the fastest boot up. <30 seconds versus several minutes.

One of my frustrations with my ASUS Chromebook is that you can only use Google apps. So Tabledit is out of question. Faster bootup is a positive though. As is the cost of chromebooks.

Windows 10 can run on a Chromebook as a VM (virtual machine)...

I use MacBook Pro laptops because they talk to my iPads and iPhone seamlessly. I started using PC’s in the 80’s. What ones that didn’t die and were recycled are now gathering dust. I have a brand new desktop PC that has never been setup..my MacBooks have all the computing power I need. I have upgraded memory and have replaced HD’s with ultra fast access SSD’s

Yup.

Right now, the MacBook Pro 14" and 16" models are just about all on sale -- $400 off -- at places like best buy, costco, amazon, and others. The base model 14" has the m1Pro CPU, other models have the m1Max, etc.

There will be m2 versions coming (perhaps at the end of the month), but they won't be "that big of a jump", and they won't be $400 off, either...

I guess my question wasn't understood.
I was told that tabledit will run on certain versions of chromebook.
Is anybody running tabledit on any version of chromebook?

From the Tabledit website...

"TablEdit runs on Windows and MacOS. A lite version (TEFpad) is available for iOS and Android."
