Good dark and early morning from cool Kingston, Ontario. It's 14C now and will hit 23C later under showers and thunderstorms. Yesterday was the free burger and fries at the open mic in Wellington, where I did six songs, including, in honour of the food, "Tennessee Road Kill Bill". I finally pulled into our driveway at two minutes past midnight. It was worth the drive to take part with a diverse, talented bunch of musicians. I took pics on the way there. There's lots of sky in Prince Edward County.

Have a great day! (Explore!)

G’mornin’ all you head rattlers. It’s a mere 46 minutes west of Wednesday here, with temps in the low 40’s. The high ! for later on will be an autumn-fresh 62*F. The equinox is upon us as we revel in the changing leaves. Be well,, don’t leave 5 minutes before the miracle happens!

Photos are of my hometown train station, originally on the Great Western Railway (1853) before Canadian National absorbed it. GWR ran between Niagara Falls and Windsor , Ontario, and connected with rail lines in New York and Michigan.

Have a wonderful Wednesday everyone. Things are cooling off around here with changeable weather on the way.

I love this photo of the Concorde flying at high altitude and twice the speed of sound. I know the SST was wasteful and bad for the environment, but what a lovely aircraft - and imagine being able to buy a ticket (albeit an expensive one) and travel at Mach 2 whilst being pampered.

And, in '85, Phil Collins performed at Live Aid in Wembley, then boarded the Concorde and performed at JFK Stadium in Philadelphia.

I remember that as well Paul. Pretty amazing stuff. My father was born a few years after the Wright Brothers made their first flight. He lived to fly for the Army Air Corps in WWII, see men walk on the moon and commercial supersonic flights.

The disrespect continues!

Have a nice, banjo-picking day, anyway.
