I recently bought some Guild banjo strings (off eBay, I believe). They are pretty nice strings, well made and sound great. The price was pretty good too; right around $6.00 per set. Of course we all are aware of Guild guitars, but I don't think they ever made banjos, at least I have never heard of one. I would think that some string making company made them and then allowed guild to put their name and logo on them.
Just wondering if anyone else has ever used Guild strings and if so how do you like them?

I used to use Guild guitar strings which I liked really well but I haven't seen them for several years. I never knew they sold banjo strings. I looked them up on eBay and found them. They might be old stock that someone has left over. Just Strings and Strings by Mail don't have Guild strings in stock for any instrument. I haven't gone through other web sites looking for them. That can wait until a time when I have not come straight home from work.
I am tempted to buy a set and try them but the third and fourth strings are a little heavy for me.
