A real fine song written by Tom Jans and covered by Kris and Rita as a duet back in 1973,, also by Dobie Gray, Elvis, and Dixie Chicks. (as a connecting thread to this august forum Kristofferson’s “Darby's Castle” was covered by The Country Gentlemen and the Dixie Chicks have a banjo player).
