Just got the customs bill for my fancy new merlin banjo :v
£500 customs charge! Shipping wasn't cheap either at £175 (that's GBP not euros) haha
500 Pound sterling is
612.55 United States Dollar
175 Pound sterling equals
214.39 United States Dollar
Sucks to be an american in UK. Nostalgia is expensive here. It litterally would've been cheaper to grab a flight to the states to pickup my banjo in person than it was to ship it via UPS and get charged UK customs. I've just checked flight costs etc haha. It actually works out cheaper to fly out and collect in person than it does to ship it and pay uk customs fees.
