I really enjoy Molly's musicianship quite a bit. Congrats Molly.

Thanks for the post, Frank. I remember Molly as a young teenager—playing a lot more banjo and already a fine singer.

I can echo your thoughts Bill back to a bygone Gettyburg fest seeing her & her family perform on their first trip to the east coast as kids . Since then I've tried to follow her music as she is indeed a fresh breath as back then .

Seems like it, but IIRC she's 29 now.

I first saw her a few months ago on UTube sharing the stage with Billy Strings and loved her playing right away.
Molly's playing in Maine in a few weeks and some of us are going to that.

It seems this whole family is talented. There are some YouTube videos from at least a decade or more ago of Molly jamming with her siblings -- younger brothers I'm guessing -- and they all are amazing back then.
Then there is some connection to a fantastic banjo picker named Kyle Tuttle who just came to my awareness a few months ago, I'm guessing he's a brother or cousin or something.
Also, I didn't know until this video that Molly has been totally bald since age 3. I really commend her for "coming out" about being bald.
She is one tough lady and a fantastic musician and singer/songwriter.

Kyle, afaik, is not related. He does play banjo in Molly’s band. Her dad, Jack, plays all the bluegrass instruments (except Dobro) and has made his living teaching for many years.
