I found a old busted dirty guitar last week at a flea market with a home made neck.... and at least some mods done to the body. It is playable after some minimal work. I'm really curious about the thing. I know you guys are here for the banjos, but I know there is a lot of knowledge here. Does anyone recognize this style of low end tuners? My guess is 50s but I really have no idea. The gears are fused to the pegs instead of screws.
It has the remains of 2 labels inside, but I don't see enough for an ID. Some Washburn labels have a leg, but it isn't the same.
