Hi there,
I have a Chevin Nilmelior banjo from 30's. Can you help me about his value?
Need a little bit of restoration
If you have more informations about it, don't hesitate ...
Located in France
Thanks

Looks like an 8 string resonator mandolin. Very unique.

It’s a “banjoline” , a resonator banjo tuned as a mandolin, with a neck similar to a mandolin. Not as interesting as a tenor banjo but Chevin made very beautiful instruments. The value of a Chevin tenor is about $650-950, I owned several.
